Bear Creek Varsity Boys Win GBSSA Championship

Eight members of the Bear Creek Hockey Canada Skills Academy participated in the GBSSA Championship Final Four in Collingwood, and helped the squad to their second consecutive GBSSA Championship and subsequent OFSAA berth.

In the semi-finals, the fourth-seeded Kodiaks stunned the first-seeded (and SCAA Champion) Collingwood Fighting Owls in overtime, winning 3-2. In the Championship, the Kodiaks dominated, beating the Eastview Wildcats 6-1 to take the gold.

OFSAA will be held in Mississauga March 21 to 24.
